I am a girl and belongs to a traditional family. I belong to Punjab am staying in New Delhi. I met my boyfriend in New Delhi who is 12 years younger than me. He is 18 years old and i am 30 years old.
Initially when he started talking romantic, i hesitated due to age difference but he comforts me and told that its fine and he will always support me and never leave me alone. We kept on talking.
Later on, after dating for few months, we indulge in relationship. We are in relationship for more than one year.
Since last 2 months, he is saying its better to leave everything now. He told, he tried to convince his parents for marriage but they are not ready for it due to age difference. They are saying that it is not good for children after marriage.
I really don’t want to leave him, but unable to understand what should i do now. He still says he loves me, but he can't marry me. He told to remain in relationship until i got marriage. I am very confused to maintain such relationship which has no future.
